How to host an Art of Surviving exhibit in your community

“This exhibit is wonderful, very evocative of the despair & strength of surviving sexual assault in ways beyond words.”

Host the Art of Surviving in your community!

The Art of Surviving exhibit is meant to raise awareness in a public setting, and to encourage individuals and communities to think about and discuss the nature and effects of sexual violence, the spiritual aspects of violence and healing, and what we can do to end sexual violence.

Groups such as Sexual Assault Crisis Centers, campus sexual assault programs, and local coordinating councils may reserve the project to display locally.

We ask that host organizations reserve a suitable space for the exhibit for at least one month. We will transport the artwork and install the exhibit. Host organizations are responsible for publicizing the exhibit locally, and for coordinating any supplemental events to the exhibit (such as holding fundraisers or lectures in the exhibit space, or any other public events designed to highlight the issue of sexual violence in your community). Once the exhibit is over, we return to take it down.
