Break the Silence is a statewide public awareness campaign coordinated by theVirginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance. The goals of the campaign are to publicize the free, confidential services of the Virginia Family Violence and Sexual Assault Hotline (800.838.8238 v/tty) and to educate friends and family members to recognizeand respondto abuse when it happens to someone they care about.

FaithTrust Institute, (formerly Center for Prevention of Sexual and Domestic Violence www.cpsdv.org ) ,  offers a wide range of services and resources, including training, consultation and educational materials, to provide communities and advocates with the tools and knowledge they need to address the religious and cultural issues related to abuse. We are an international, multifaith organization working with many communities, including Asian and Pacific Islander, Buddhist, Jewish, Latino/a, Muslim, Black, Anglo, Indigenous, Protestant and Roman Catholic.
