Membership Meetings the Alliance has 3 Membership Meetings each year. They are an opportunity to meet the very diverse people from all over Virginia who share a commitment to ending sexual and domestic violence. At each meeting there are also meetings of the Alliance Task Forces and Caucuses. Through participating in a Task Force and/or Caucus you can add your voice to those of others who share common interests in the work to respond to and prevent sexual and domestic violence. Legislative Advocacy Day January 2011 Every year the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance hosts a Legislative Advocacy (“Lobby”) Day at the Virginia General Assembly. We use this as an opportunity to educate our members about legislative items being introduced and to have our collective voices heard by members of the General Assembly. Check back for 2011 details.
